2009 was the beginning of Tony’s tattooing career. He was uncertain about becoming a tattoo artist at the start as there was a lack of readily available resources. Unlike nowadays where there’s easily accessible tutorials and videos online, he had to find different ways to learn. He attended tattoo conventions, bought a lot of tattoo equipment to try, and met a lot of different people to learn through their experiences and ask for advice. Even with all the effort he put into learning the art, he was still uncertain of his future in tattooing. He lacked clients and experience and had yet to make a name for himself. So he made the tough decision to return to school to study Animation. After a few years, he returned and picked up the tattooing machine again. It was a long struggle to improve his skills and accumulate recognition. He focused on the fundamentals and traditional style of art. There were countless hours of practicing drawing and tattooing, and with time came experience. Things started slowly picking up as he learned more and more but Tony still says he has much to learn even after all these years as a tattoo artist. He appreciates the support he gets from everyone and will continue to work hard to be worthy of all your support.
